Well I went and got myself a new theme.

The old one was bugging my happiness for a while so I found this excellent one by Pachyderm. I think it’s total nectar. It came with a header image involving cutsie animals which were lovely but didn’t really go with me as a Blogger, so I binned them and I’m now planning on creating my own image to take their place.

Also, I’ve started work on my new enterprise. I am a Marketer by trade, (although I do often state that I’m a Butcher by trade, but that story is for another time) and I’ve always enjoyed mocking up bits and bobs on my laptop. This is where Boldly Gold Designs comes in. The goal is to develop a small sideline where I can use my government-funded skills to make a bit of extra cash. This cash will inevitably go back into the economy in the guise of Kindle Downloads, Forever 21 dresses and organisational supplies, so I see myself as single-handedly saving this country from this financial depression. As I said in a previous post, I picked up some nifty business cards and now I’m in the process of trying to locate all of the design work I’ve done over the years. This is proving to be a bite of a nightmare as it’s scattered between 2 PC’s, 2 Laptops, 3 Counties, 5 email addresses, 1 iPad and about 1436572489963 USB devices.*

*Side note, my other goal is to organise my digital life which is proving to be about as difficult as processing a SAAS application. AM I RIGHT?

So, once I have everything catalogued on my other site then I think I will be in a good position to start offering my services (hawhaw). I don’t imagine that I will be incredibly busy, but any work that I do take on will seriously cut down the free time that I have at the moment to annoy my hamster. It will be a big adjustment for us both.

Isn't he photogenic?
