Rimmel Make Up for a £1!

Recently I have started reading more and more about Poundland stocking branded make-up! I love a bargain so thought I would go and check out their offerings – I was not disappointed.

I went to the store in East Kilbride and I was really impressed with the selection of things that they had! There was a whole wall dedicated to branded make-up and there I spotted some lush eyeshadows, eyeliner, nail polish and other assorted cosmetics all by a range of brands, but I stuck with Rimmel and Sally Hansen.

Can’t wait to try the polish – I think it will be a great autumn colour

So what did I buy? Well nail polish and lipstick to start with. Sally Hansen Extreme Wear in Wet Cement and Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in 370 Rose Shimmer to be exact.

This concealer is surprisingly good and does take the redness away!

I’ve been looking for a new concealer and I just happened to spot this Rimmel Stay Matte stick which to my surprise also has an anti-redness core. Very excited to try this out!

I went a bit mad when it came to eyes and bought the 3 eyeshadows and coloured eyeliner because I totally need them… I may have emitted a slight squeal when I spotted the Glam Eyes trio in Fever as I was on the verge of buying this the other week in Boots! I also picked up more from the glam eyes range – Night Jewel and Precious Rose – as I thought this would be a good colour combo for a girlie smoky eye.

Finally, this coloured eyeliner is brought to you my by uncontrollable impulse buying mode. I am not one for coloured eyeliners; I’ve never been able to make them work. However I fell in love with this muted green colour and I promise I will give it a whirl!

As you’ve probably already guessed each item was only a pound, so for the 7 things that I bought I saved £36.93 based on retail value! It just goes to show that you don’t have to spend a fortune to get good quality make up.
