September Birchbox Review

It’s Birchbox Time!! This is the first box that has been delivered to my new house which made it even more special! This month’s box was a bit of a mish-mash but I was not disappointed as there were some really great product in there…

My favourite product of the month has got to be the Bioderma Sebium H20 Micellaire water. This stuff is AMAZING. I’ve been using it to take off my eye make up and it does a great job! I’ve noticed that my eyelashes seem a touch stronger after using this for a week instead of my usual potion. I don’t know if this is the cause or maybe I’m just scrubbing less? Regardless, I lovees it 🙂

The product I liked the least was actually the Green & Black’s chocolate :O I usually really like white chocolate but this particular one was less that satisfactory.

Ya’ll know I love a nail polish in a Birchbox so I was super excited to receive one by a brand I’ve never heard of before! Reverence de Bastien comes in lovely, deep bottles and their colour selection is pretty traditional. I received the colour No.8 which is a pretty pinky-coral colour. The formula is OK, a bit too sheer for my liking, but I suppose this would be a lot nicer in the spring.

There was also a Molton Brown lotion in the scent Ylang Ylang which I’m not too fussed for if I’m honest. The scent is meh, and I’m never too bothered about Molton Brown products in general. There was also an Aromatherapy Associates body gel which is in my shower right now and it a nice scent to use in the morning to wake up!

Finally, Brichbox included a ModelCo Party Proof lipstick in the shade Kitty. While the formula is really moisturising, the colour is just not right for me. I will be buying this in a different shade though as I really do like this product!

So that’s a wrap for this month! Did you like or hate any of the products in this Birchbox? Let me know in the comments down below 🙂
