Cath Kidston Sewing Organiser

At the end of December, Sarky and I went on trip to Costco and I picked up the new Cath Kidston Sewing Book. Seeing as I was really only there for a hot dog, I came away doubly pleased that day. Now, I need another sewing book like I need a hole in the head but I was drawn to this one by the kit for a travel sewing organiser that came with it. What can I say? I’m a sucker for sewing organisation!

The book itself has some great information in it and some of the projects are so cute! This organiser was really easy to make and the instructions were clear without being too wordy. I really need to work on binding corners but I think I tackled the sides pretty well 🙂

The 3 pockets are plenty big for some thread, bobbins, needles and scissors and this will really come in handy at the end of the month for a day of sewing with some other lovely bloggers at The Stitchery in Glasgow 🙂 I already used it to house some cross stitch supplies to keep me occupied on our flight to Dublin last week. Ian nearly died when I whipped out my hoop as we sat down (behave).
