Project Life March

Here I am sharing my Project Life March spread! The obsession is still alive and strong ๐Ÿ™‚

You’ll have to excuse the hazy pictures and grotty cutting mat! I don’t know what I was thinking taking these photos but they’ll just have to do. Must focus on upping my photography game… Why is it so hard to take photos of photos?

So what happened in March? Well we took Ian’s sister’s dog for a walk at the beach at Irvine which was lovely! Unfortunately we can’t have a dog of our own as it would be unfair to leave it alone all day while we’re at work but having Pippin just up the road totally lessens the hurt ๐Ÿ™‚ She’s so cute! I managed to get some fab pictures of her digging in the sand and running about like a dafty so they pretty much take up all of the first page… Can you blame me though? She’s so fluffy!!

Also managed to snap this one of his Lordship frolicking in the sand… He loves the camera…

The second page covers quite a few days like the annual family games night, our day out in Edinburgh visiting the Steak on Stones restaurant and the Hillarys Crafternoon. I really like the way this particular card turned out using a burlap butterfly and an embossed label.

I also wanted to add an Instagram snap of my completed Avengers cross stitch because I’m just so damn proud of it!

Again I’m really pleased with how this spread turned out (would I show you if I wasn’t? Probably.) I especially like the orange and teal colour palette of the first page so I’ll definitely be using that again. I had a few other things I wanted to include in this month but didn’t have the space, so I’ve found a nifty way of adding a bit extra which I’m working on at the moment. Hopefully it turns out well and I can show it off soon ๐Ÿ™‚
